Biography

My name is Ezra A. Williams. I was born on the 2nd of September, 1981 to Veronica and Emanuel Williams, in the village of Pichelin, Dominica. From a very young age, I was inspired by my parents to learn as much as I could about everything. My mother, instead of buying me toys, would buy me books, every time it was my birthday. She loved reading and telling stories and in turn, she made me love reading. She is my hero!!! From a very young age, I loved teaching. My father was a carpenter so we had lots of wood lying around. These pieces of wood became my blackboard and I taught the dolls, the pets, my sister, my friends and children of my village. During my studies at the then Clifton Dupigny Community College in Dominica 1998, I fell in love with computers and learning how they operate. This is where my passion for Computer Science began. I also have a passion for Psychology and in turn, how Computer Science and Psychology correlate. I am pleased to have graduated from the University of the Virgin Islands with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. This was just the beginning... I aspire to achieve a Doctorate Degree in Computer Science as well as pursuing further studies in Psychology (I already have an Associate Degree in Psychology). I graduated in May 2018 with my Master of Science in Computer Science degree from Georgia State University. My hobbies include reading, writing, and programming (yes! Programming can be a hobby). I am a mother of two sons, a daughter, a homemaker and an aspiring entrepreneur!! I believe that anything is possible if we just believe in the almighty! If we put our trust in him, we can achieve! At the age of eighteen I wrote a motto: “There are many things I would like to achieve for as long as I intend to live in this world. However, we do not know when we will go and we have to take life as it comes and do only what we can. We should not waste time on petty matters and act as if time is waiting for us. Time is not always on our side, and we have to make good the time we have..."
